Aari ~ A craft that hails from Kashmir and is 500 years old. The tip of the needle is use to create thousand of tiny stitches in a desired pattern. Floral motifs are very popular for the embroidery
This Saree is handcrafted by artisans from Srinagar on a fabric thats made with pure silk and wool (No that doesn't make the saree warm, you can wear it in summers too)
The saree has a broad border made with Aari embroidery in contrast red , blue and orange color . The Pallu is hand embroidered with Aari work too. Saree is also graced with tiny motifs all over body giving an elegant look
The saree has passed many hands from weaver to artisans to quality team , and hence may have gained some stains ! Anything unwanted you see will go away with a dry wash.
