Collection: Odisha Ikkat

Orissa is famous for Ikat weaves created by an intricate process called the "Bandha" in which warp and weft threads are tie-dyed to produce the pattern on the loom while weaving.

In the 'single' ikat, either the warp or weft thread is dyed.

As the design-type is single ikat, the designs on the material are blurred; however, this trace-design has a beauty all its own.
